Off-Centre

"A little off-centre,
A bit more to the side,
Slightly tilted forward,
Rotate it more to light."

The workman staggers forward
And kicks it with his knee,
The sculpture chips, tainted,
Now perfect as can be.

There is beauty in the armless,
The difference catches eye;
There is dignity in the different,
The piece of world called mine.
