Back to school. xD
The first two days thus far have been sianz enough... Seriously.
Yesterday started off with me getting stuck in a nice traffic jam @ Braddell, Bishan and I heard ALL of the other roads surrounding RI/RJC. I went from wondering what to do with my spare time I would have before assembly to wondering whether the prefect catching latecomers was late too. So there I stood in the nice double-decker 88 bus watching a host of people walking on foot overtaking me.
I got in on time (perhaps stretching the term abit but I wasn't book. bwahahaha) and went straight to the hall where we were treated to a opening year speech by the new headmaster. It was, refreshingly enough, a speech that did not begin with a story. It *pause* was a *pause* speech *pause* that went *pause* like this *pause*.
Class interaction followed, so 3R, sitted in a neat 5-4-1-2-5 seating arrangement met Mr Koh, who promptly told us to tell the class about something he thought everyone else didn't know about themselves. Like: Not knowing what to say but knowing perhaps the class did not know that.
Then came today. I went to the bus stop prepared and got off at the 93 stop at Braddell closest to RI and proceeded to walk well... To RI. Duh. Instead of waiting for another bus to get stuck into the gridlock again. Halfway on my way there, I noticed the same 88 appear and getting stuck in the jam. My decision, and the extra walking distance, paid off, I thought. Then the 88 driver displayed a new approach.
Horn horn. Horn horn. It horned its way past the mass of cars and proceeded to blockade the bus stop from an outer lane. And there I was stuck at some traffic light that took like 6 mins to turn green (man). Bah.
And I wouldn't even start on the talks. (Coz mebbe I didn't absorb a thing at all)
What would Day 3 bring...
