Went to Sim Lim today with Mervyn to recce the prices. And well turns out that my stuff are out of stock. Haish. Conspiracy lar. Of all times... When I finally decide what to get and actually raise the money and actually go it is out of stock.

And so I coped a wireless router in the end after going up and down collecting flyers. Fun. The burger king there also very kind. Let us sit and study flyers long after we finished the food. =D

And oh... The guys at fuwell cheapoed me of a umbrella and a waterbottle. Hmph. Liddat also wan to con me...

Thus I returned. I must comment fuwell for their perfect camouflage plastic bags. No one would have robbed me. I looked like I was carrying stuff back from the wet market.

[rant&jargon]

I immediately tried to fix up the WLAN and was bouyed by the success of my successful setting up of my new com. Den i got hell.

My other com's case wouldn't budge. And after hammering it for some time it finally opened to reveal alot of dust.

Then comes the fun part. I installed the PCI Card but it looked too low and the antenna thingy couldn't fit. So I shuffled the pci components (3 times...) in hopes of installing the thing while a metal bar remained locked across the middle of the case. I gave up went down to check the dell's webbie abt it... It said something abt remove screw.

So I took a screwdriver and go there, then I found no screw... Fun. Desperate, I just yanked it. It gave way. -__-

So i installed the pci card and the drivers and tested it. My system couldn't seem too recognize the card... Thinking I installed the thing wrongly, I opened my case and tried again and again and again...

After 4 hrs I got quite pissed. -__- Turns out my chipset too old.

Yay.

Hahaz. The above makes no sense. (Partially coz of jargon, partially coz its really hard to describe this sorta thing, and mostly coz its boring) But hell. Ranting on blog is a good method of stress relief. =D

Well. I guess at least the days are getting eventful. xD Better than nothing I suppose.
